π¨ What is an Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)? π¨
An UTI is an infection in any part of your urinary system β kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra. Itβs a common condition that affects both men and women, but especially women.
There are two main types of UTIs:
π§ Localised UTI (Cystitis):
This usually affects the bladder and causes discomfort while urinating, frequent urge to pee, and lower belly pain. There are no signs of fever or body-wide illness.
π‘οΈ Systemic UTI:
This is more serious. Along with urinary symptoms, it includes fever, chills, body aches, and fatigue, meaning the infection has spread and may involve the kidneys or bloodstream.
π If you're having symptoms like burning while urinating, frequent trips to the bathroom, or fever β donβt ignore it!
